Vishay Power Metal Strip
Wslp2726 and wslp4026 are surface mount power metal strip resistors with overall dimensions of 2726 and 4026. They combine high rated power of 5W to 7W and very low resistance value of 0.5m Ω. The device adopts a 4-connector design, which can achieve a stable resistance tolerance of 1.0%.
Wslp2726 and wslp4026 resistors adopt advanced structural methods and adopt specially selected and stable solid metal nickel chromium or manganese copper alloy resistance cores with low TCR (< 20ppm / ℃). They can produce resistance cores that can work at - 65 ℃ to high-power resistors that can work at + 170 ℃, while maintaining the excellent electrical characteristics of power metal strip structure.
The new devices allow engineers to design high-power circuits with as little resistance as possible to achieve higher performance end products. In addition, the high temperature performance of the resistor enables wslp2726 and wslp4026 to be used in harsh high temperature environments without loss of power level or electrical performance.
Resistors are suitable for all types of current detection, voltage division and pulse applications, including shunt resistors in automotive electronic control equipment, such as switching and linear power supplies, instruments, power amplifiers, engines, brushless DC motors, anti lock brakes and climate control. Industrial control, such as downhole testing / measuring equipment for oil / gas drilling and inverter control of HVAC.
The size of wslp2726 resistor is 0.272 inch x 0.260 inch (6.9mm x 6.6mm), and the maximum height is 0.117 inch (3.0mm). The size of wslp4026 resistor is 0.400 inch x 0.260 inch (10.1mm x 6.6mm) and the height is 0.117 inch (3.0mm). Vishay's unique processing technology enables the resistor to have a very low resistance value of 0.5m Ω to 2.0m Ω, and a strict tolerance of 1.0% and 5.0%.
